Say hello to Mmdelai

A christchurch band formed in 2010, Mmdelai's set up started with Annemarie singing to backing tracks live and then with DJ Cutloose. Later that year a friend gathered some Christchurch musicians together to form a band for the RounDUp competition 2010.

Since then Mmdelai has been live with band; the line-up featuring Annemarie Duff (Miniatures), Josh Black (Sleepy Age), Jess Hix (NYBBNZ) and Danny Webster (Radar Angel,

Permanence).

There EP has been over a year in the making, inspired by general rantings about the Universe and recorded in various places around Christchurch/Dunedin. It tends toward the darker side of electronica with influences including U.N.K.L.E., Bonobo and Quantic.

They are currently working towards an album to be released later this year. 

The EP is available on I-tunes if you feel like supporting some local music.
